War
MAIN WAGER AND WAR WAGER
Card comparisons are done by rank only, with Ace as the highest rank, and Two as the lowest rank.
If the player’s initial card outranks the dealer’s initial card, the Main wager wins and pays 1 to 1.
If the player’s initial card is outranked by the dealer, the Main wager loses.
If the player and dealer tie, and the player Surrenders, the player loses half of their Main wager, and the other half is returned to them.
If the player and dealer tie, and the player goes to War, then the resolution depends on the additional cards:
If the player outranks the dealer, the Main wager pushes and the War wager wins and pays 1 to 1.
If the player is outranked by the dealer, the Main and War wagers both lose.
If the player and dealer tie again, the resolution depends on configurationIn the Bonus configuration, the Main wager pushes and the War wager wins and pays 2 to 1.In the No Bonus configuration, the
Main wager pushes and the War wager wins and pays 1 to 1.
INITIAL TIE WAGER
The Initial Tie wager is an optional bet based on the initial cards only.
If the player and dealer tie, the Initial Tie wager wins and pays 10 to 1 (or 11 to 1, or 12 to 1 depending on the configuration). Otherwise, the wager loses.
SECONDARY TIE WAGER
The Secondary Tie wager is an optional bet that can only occur when the player ties the dealer with a hand, and decides to make a War wager.
The player cannot make a Secondary Tie wager unless the player also chooses to make a War wager.
The Secondary Tie wager is based on the additionally dealt cards of the player and dealer only.
If the player and dealer tie, the Secondary Tie wager wins and pays 10 to 1 (or 11 to 1, or 12 to 1 depending on the configuration). Otherwise, the wager loses.
